Join a Summer Leadership Summit

Get 3 and Go! Attend a Summer Leadership Summit with less requirements! Leadership Summits are one week programs designed for smaller groups of at least one (1) adult-chaperone and three (3+) or more students that get combined with other small groups on select dates and destinations to make a collective impact.

Summits are meant for faculty and student leaders new to our organization to experience our Education and Health programs before planning their own Squad in the future. There is no group project contribution and adult-chaperones are free. Summer Leadership Summits are offered weekly in the following destinations and dates. Click on the program to download a flyer:

Sample Schedule

Day 1

Arrival + Orientation

Your group flies into the destination airport where our local team greets the group and provides transport to the Home-base. Our private Home-base accomodations provide authentic local cuisine, connection with our year-round staff, and space to enjoy your downtime. Squads stay in same-sex rooms, accommodating 4-6 people, with private bathrooms. Private rooms for teachers and chaperones are typical and based on availability. Unwind from your journey and receive an orientation about the country and the work ahead.

Days 2-6

Volunteer Projects + Cultural Activities

In the mornings, your Squad will volunteer in a school to improve education and health outcomes through classroom support and small construction projects. Empower our year-round health programming by supporting health screenings for children, conducting public health workshops, and building water and sanitation projects alongside community members. Site visits, guest speakers, and cultural activities will also be facilitated by trained staff and local professionals every afternoon or evening. Each weekday afternoon enjoy fun and engaging guided cultural activities in the area.

Days 7-8

Enrichment Add-Ons + Departure Home

After a week of unforgettable service spend an extra day and night on the weekend enjoying enrichment activities such as an Acropolis and Parthenon in Athens, Antigua-World Heritage Site in Guatemala, Panama City and Beaches in Panama. On the last day, group sessions are facilitated to reflect on what will undoubtedly be a life-changing experience and to re-acclimate to life back home. Friends and family will be excited to hear of the many amazing stories, friendships, and discoveries you made on your journey!
