TELESQUAD funding sources

A variety of funding sources may be available to support your school in the implementation of Squads Abroad virtual experiential project-based learning programs in the classroom.  Sources may include, but are not limited to, General School FundsFederal Funds, Local Partnerships, and Scholarships.

federal funds (eSSA & PERKINS V)

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Title I-V authorizes significant funds to help increase the capacity of states, local educational agencies (LEAs), schools, and local communities to provide all students with access to a well-rounded education and to improve school conditions for student learning.  Perkins Funding is a staple of financial support for career and technical education (CTE).  Perkins V, officially titled The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act, presents the first major increase to that funding since 2006.  Inquire with your school administrators about the potential of accessing these funding sources for the program.

American Rescue Plan (esser) funds

These significant funds from this plan provide a unique opportunity for innovation, equity, and access within your school and district. These funds are available to you for a variety of purposes, including any use of current federal funds such as ESEA and Perkins.  Eligible expenditures include TeleSquad’s proven, hands-on, project-based learning programs that unlock the potential of all students.  Please reference the Department of Education Office of Elementary & Secondary Education website for details on each state’s plan and inquire with your school administrators about the potential of accessing these funding sources for the program.

Local Partnerships

Local partnerships can be a valuable support for implementing TeleSquad programs in the classroom.  As a registered 501c3 non-profit all educational fees are eligible for a tax deduction and while promoting local and sustainable involvement.  Inquire with us in order to provide documentation, templates, and establish fundraising pages.
