The Global Medical Challenge will:
- Introduce you to international medicine and the healthcare challenges faced around the world
- Explore how to operate an international clinic, including triage, pharmacy and consultations
- Guide you through the medical challenges faced abroad and support you to explore potential solutions
- Challenge you to create an educational health video or presentation to be used by Community Health Workers around the world
Upon completion Global Medical Challenge, participants will:
- Earn up to 20 documented medical service hours
- Receive a Global Medical Challenge Certificate
- Compete with other Medical Squad chapters for awards and scholarships
Through an engaging online program, you’ll gain an understanding of how to operate an international clinic, from triage and pharmacy management to patient consultations. You’ll also delve into specific medical challenges and collaborate with your team to develop innovative solutions.
